A new variety of butterfly named, Noble Helen was discovered in Arunachal Pradesh recently. Butterfly population has increased recently in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The state is known for its biodiversity.
This species is not found in India. Its origin is in China, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Cambodia. The butterfly is endangered in these countries and was recently spotted in India as well. The butterflies are found in all parts of the world except Antarctica. There are 18,500 species of butterflies in the world.
