Kanha National Park
Kanha National Park is one of the largest and most well-known national parks in India. It has dense forests that served as an inspiration for Rudyard Kipling’s famous novel “The Jungle Book.” It is renowned for its population of Royal Bengal Tigers. Other animals like leopards, sloth bears, Barasingha, swamp deer, etc. are found in this national park.
Bandhavgarh National Park
It is located in Vindhya Hills. This protected area park contains one of the highest densities of tigers in India. Besides tigers, various species of deer, langurs, wild boars, and lots of bird species are found here.
Pench National Park
Pench National Park is located on the border between Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. It is famous for its pristine forests and diverse wildlife. It contains the Bengal Tigers, as well as other creatures like leopards, Indian bison (gaur), sloth bears, and the Indian wolf. The Pench River flows through the park.
Satpura National Park
Satpura National Park is located in the Satpura Range of Central India. It has diverse flora and fauna, like tigers, leopards, Indian giant squirrels, and a variety of bird species.
Panna National Park
It is situated along the Ken River. The Panna National Park is known for its rich biodiversity. The park is famous for its successful efforts in tiger conservation and reintroduction. Apart from tigers, leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a wide range of avian species are found here.
